Rachel Carson was an amazing woman who saved the world from losing many species of animals because of the chemicals like DDT used by humans. I was interested in Carson because although it was unknown at her time, she was a major part of the environmental movement's beginning. As a woman that was new, different, and unusual but that never stopped her from accomplishing major improvements for the preservation of the earth through science and knowledge. After finishing my research i have become a big fan of Rachel Carson's because she was an amazing sciencist who changed the world for woman ans stood up for what she believed in.
